Cascade Chapter of the Health Physics Society

The Health Physics Society is a scientific and professional organization whose members specialize in occupational and environmental radiation safety. The primary purpose of the Society is to support its members in the practice of their profession.

The Cascade Chapter of the Health Physics Society covers Oregon and Western Washington. The Members are in radiation protection or related fields, from universities, hospitals, government, research and business.

This Chapter's primary objectives are:

Encourage the dissemination of information between individuals
Improve public understanding of radiation
Provide open lines of communication between radiation professionals
