The Affiliate Membership Program of the Baltimore-Washington Chapter of the Health Physics Society was created to increase the resources of the Chapter so that it could enhance its programs in the areas of public information and education, and to provide corporate and business concerns with a vehicle for closer contact with Health Physicists in the nation's capital.

By Joining You Receive
| Membership | Your organization becomes a non-voting member in the Chapter, some of whose over three hundred members are known worldwide in all phases of Health Physics. Your representative becomes a paid up voting member. |
| Newsletter | You will be placed on the Chapter mailing list and will receive a subscription to the Chapter Newsletter. |
| Advertising | You will be able to insert up to a half page advertisement of your own copy in the Chapter Newsletter. You are invited to submit articles and press releases for publication in the Chapter Newsletter, which reaches many Health Physicists in the area who do not receive the National HPS Newsletter. A complimentary copy is also sent to all national Officers and to each Chapter. |
| Handbook | You will be listed as an Affiliate Member in the annual Membership Handbook, and receive a copy when published. |
| Mailing List | One set of labels will be made available to you each year, and you have the right to purchase additional sets at a nominal cost. |
| Vendors Meeting | Affiliate members will be invited to display their products / services at the BWCHPS annual day-long meeting, which occurs in May. |
